Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We wanted to remind you that we are celebrating our 20th Annual Saffran Conference on Friday, September 25th! The topic this year is The Influence of Precision Medicine on Approaches to Rehabilitation of Language and Communication Disorders in Children and Adults. We have an excellent selection of speakers, and we will be highlighting the work of 15 student scholars during a poster session. These scholars are students who demonstrate dedication to their research and whose work highlights this year’s theme or some topic related to translational research in the communication sciences.

Attached is the Student Scholar Award application and program information. Please circulate the application among your students!

Additionally, ASHA CEUs will be offered for this conference. Registration details are soon to follow.
We hope to see you there!

on behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to inform you about the upcoming IALP World Congress, which will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, 20.8.2028 – 24.8.2028.

We would be very pleased to invite your affiliated society to participate in the scientific program. We kindly ask you to nominate up to 10 speakers from your country, including proposed topics, who could contribute to the congress within one of the following thematic areas (subsequently, we will contact the nominated speakers individually with a request to present at the congress):

Voice & Phoniatrics

Speech & Language

Feeding & Dysphagia

Hearing & Audiology

Others (General Topics)

The congress program will be structured into thematic blocks, and your nominations will help us ensure broad international representation and high scientific quality.

Please note that, according to IALP regulations, we are unfortunately not able to cover travel expenses or waive registration fees for these nominated speakers.

We would greatly appreciate receiving your nominations at your earliest convenience.
