Dear IALP members and colleagues of the Affiliated Societies,
The Education Committee for Professionals Working with Communication Sciences and Disorders (Education Committee) of the International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders (IALP) is recruiting audiology members to join its committee for a three-year term. We are particularly keen to recruit colleagues from Majority world/Low and Middle-Income countries.
If you are an individual member from a Majority world country, please consider the Education Committee. You can find the charge to the Education Committee attached. If you are a professional organisation representative, please cascade this request to your members. If you work with individual colleagues or professional organisations from Majority World countries, particularly those in Africa, we are keen to hear from individuals who would like to contribute to and benefit from membership of the Education Committee of IALP.
Majority World country members should be aware that there is an IALP Membership Sponsorship Fund (MSF) that can assist with payment of individual membership fees for colleagues from Majority world countries. A call for applications is currently open until 15th October 2026. For further information about the MSF, please reach out to IALP’s CEO Ms. Vanessa Ebejer at ialp_ceo@ialpglobal.org.
